Walton Science Olympiad competed at the University of Pennsylvania Science Olympiad (SOUP) invitational on January 14, 2026—one of the most competitive college-sponsored tournaments in the country, featuring 70+ teams and over 1,000 students.
Our teams delivered outstanding performances:
- Overall: A Team 19th, B Team 32nd
- Engineering CAD (A Team): 6th place – Caroline and Sean
- Robot Tour (A Team): 5th place – Anna and Sophia
- Hovercraft (B Team): 1st place – Aishu and Ananya
- Electric Vehicle (B Team): 6th place – Brinda and Hannah
A special shout-out to our incredible coaches, Doug Wolfe and Matt Curtis—their hands-on guidance, leadership, and tireless commitment were instrumental every step of the way. Walton SO continues to reach new heights because of their passion and mentorship.
